ArmInfo. National Mortgage Company's portfolio of refinanced loans reached 13.745 bln drams (1854 loans) as of September 1 2011. The portfolio grew 37.3% for Jan-Aug 2001.
NMC's official data say the company refinanced 38 mortgage loans in the amount of 313 mln drams for August alone.
At present the company has general contracts with 15 commercial banks and 3 loan companies: Armbusinessbank. ARARATBANK, Armeconombank, Artsakhbank, Bank Anelik, Areximbank-Gazprombank Group, Ardshininvestbank, VTB Bank (Armenia), HSBC Bank Armenia, INECOBANK, Byblos Bank Armenia, Unibank, ADB, Converse Bank, ArmSwissbank, and the First National Mortgage Company, Global Credit and Express Credit.
Armenian Central Bank founded National Mortgage Company on June 16 2009. As of July 1 2011 the statutory capital of the company totaled 8 bln. The company occupied leading positions among universal credit companies in terms of the total capital - 8.4 bln drams. Assets of the company totaled 12.983 bln drams (2nd position), with the share of the loans being 87% (1st position).
