ArCa transactions in Areximbank-Gazprombank Group processing center up 18.8% for Aug


ArmInfo. Transactions with local ArCa cards in the processing center of Areximbank-GPB Group were up 18.8% for Aug 2011 versus Aug 2010 to 55.5 mln drams (3458 transactions), the Armenian Card CJSC told ArmInfo.

The share of cash dispensing in total transactions grew 17.8% to 49.7 mln drams. Payments with ArCa cards at trade points were up 28.1% to 5.7 mln drams.

Armexibank-GPB Group joined VISA International in 2002, and MasterCard in 2005. The bank serves plastic cards via its own processing center. The sole shareholder of Areximbank-GPB Group is Gazprombank OJSC, Russia.
