Professional insurance community of Armenia determines its leaders of 2011
ArmInfo. The professional insurance community of Armenia has determined its worthy competitors. As a result of a cross public opinion poll among 22 top managers of 7 insurance companies of Armenia, 2 insurance companies have taken the lead in 10 nominations: INGO Armenia in 7 nominations and Rosgosstrakh-Armenia in 2 nominations. The same companies shared the first position in one nomination.
To remind, the public opinion poll "The Best Competitor" among the top managers of insurance companies is being held by the financial and analytical service of the Agency of Rating Marketing Information (ArmInfo) for the first time according to the technology similar to the public opinion poll held among the banking specialists since 2005 once every two years.
The poll reflects the summarized assessment of the quality of the insurance market participants' activities by the heads of the insurance companies and their departments. The poll covers such segments as: activeness of competitor companies in the market of the motor third partly liability insurance (MTPL), CASCO, insurance of cargo transportations, voluntary health insurance, property and tourism insurance, settlement of MTPL insurable cases, as well as the level of management and efficiency of the agents' network and activities of average commissioners. Only RASCO refused to participate in the poll.

The following insurance companies rank next: Cascade Insurance (51.70%), Nairi Insurance (50.68%), Garant Limens (38.08%), Sil Insurance (37.64%), and RESO (32.12%).

By activeness in the MTPL segment, the competitors gave the preference to INGO Armenia (83.93%), Rosgosstrakh-Armenia (83.33%), and Nairi Insurance (60.12%).
By the settlement of MTPL insurable cases, the top four leaders are Rosgosstrakh Armenia (64.29%), INGO Armenia (63.69%), Cascade Insurance (50.0%), and Nairi Insurance (49.40%).

By activeness in the tourism insurance segment, INGO Armenia and Rosgosstrakh-Armenia shared the first position with a similar result (65.48%). By activeness in the CASCO segment, INGO Armenia is followed by Rosgosstrakh-Armenia (70.24%), Nairi Insurance (65.20%), and Cascade Insurance (57.14%).
The same companies follow INGO Armenia by activeness in the property insurance segment: Rosgosstrakh Armenia (61.31%), Nairi Insurance (52.38%), and Cascade Insurance (50.60%). To note, the public opinion poll "The Best Competitor" among the banks has been held by the financial and analytical service of the Agency of Rating Marketing Information (ArmInfo) since 2005 once every two years. In 2011 ArmInfo started a similar poll among the insurance companies, which took an active part in this initiative.
It is noteworthy that the subjective professional opinion of the insurance community of Armenia, which is expressed in the results of the given poll, mostly reflects the real picture of the insurance companies' activeness in certain segments with slight distortions.
