Now RESOMED program on individual health insurance has a new dental component


ArmInfo. Now RESOMED program on individual health insurance of RESO insurance company has a new dental component "Healthy Tooth". The press service of the company told ArmInfo that the customers of RESO (insured under the RESOMED program) can join the dental service program for 15,000 AMD.

According to the source, the given program implies reimbursed treatment of a number of dental diseases, which are not compensated for by the health insurance contract. The program also includes free treatment of several dental services (extraction of teeth, X-ray filming, scaling).

The company specified that the contract also implies treatment of the dental diseases, which had emerged before the "Healthy Tooth" contract was concluded. Under one contract, 4 members of a family can receive dental treatment.

To remind, RESO insurance company launched the RESOMED program on individual health insurance in July 2011. The company's individual policy of health insurance includes not only the compulsory medical services, but also bonus services, particularly, expensive cardiological examination. The policy price starts from 30,000 AMD.

To note, at present 5 out of 8 insurance companies of Armenia are engaged in health insurance. Over Jan- June 2011, the volume of premiums by this type of insurance amounted to 707.6 mln AMD (46.4% y-o-y growth). Corporate insurance is the basis of voluntary health insurance in Armenia.

To recall, the founder of RESO insurance company is RESO Guarantee (Russia). The subsidiary of the Russian insurer entered the market in November 2008.
