Capital investments in construction for Jan-Feb 2012 in Armenia $23 mln
ArmInfo. The World Bank provided 861,2 mln drams credits to the construction sphere of Armenia for Jan-Feb 2012 ($2.2 mln) or about 78% of all the international credit investments in the construction sector of the republic over the reported period, which was about 1,1 bln drams ($2,9 mln). Incidentally, the investment volumes of the WB in the construction sphere of Armenia reduced by 28,6% versus Jan-Feb 2011.
The National Statistical Service of Armenia told ArmInfo the volume of capital investments in construction in Armenia amounted to 19.4 bln drams ($50.1 mln) for Jan-Feb 2012 which is by 0,1% less versus the same period of 2011. The share of construction and assembly in total capital construction for Jan-Feb 2012 was 16.6 billion drams which grew by 6,4% versus Jan-Feb 2011.
The state budget invested 2.2 billion drams ($5.8 million, up 8.2%) for Jan-Feb 2012 versus Jan-Feb 2011. Organizations spent 12.3 billion drams ($31.8 million, up 13.1%) on capital construction or 63.4% of total investments in this sphere in Armenia. The population spent 34 billion drams ($89 million, down 57.7%) or 15.1% of total investments in the sphere. The population spent 2,9 bln drams ($7,4 mln) in the sphere of construction for Jan-Feb 2012 - up 3,8% versus Jan-Feb 2011 or 14,7% out of the total volume of investments in the construction. EBRD provided 178.7 mln drams credits ($0.5 mln, up 44.5%) or 0.9% of total. KfW - 1.9 mln drams, All Armenian Hayastan Fund - 25,4 mln drams - down 0,3%, UN - 19.9 mln drams - up 9,7 times.
