Areximbank-GPB Group increased assets 20.6% for first half of 2012
ArmInfo. Assets of Areximbank-GPB Group CJSC were up 20.6% for the first half of 2012, the banks press-service reported. As of June 30 2012 assets of the bank amounted to 115.6 billion drams, which is by 35.1 billion drams or 43.6% more than for the same period of 2011.
The share of loans in assets is the largest - 90.3 billion drams of 78.2% of total assets as of June 30 2012. The bank increased the loan portfolio (including credit lines) by 21.0% to 90.3 bln drams for the period under review. Corporate loans made up 75.7 billion drams (50.2% growth) and personal loans - 14.7 bln drams (20.1% growth).
General obligations of Areximbank-GPB Group totaled 99.3 bln drams on July 1 2012, which is 24.0% more than a year ago. Total capital amounted to 16.2 bln drams, with authorized capital totaling 12.3 bln drams.
At the same time, pre-tax profit of the bank totaled 647.2 mln drams, which is 22.5% more than for the first half of 2011. The bank serves as 16 branches, including 7 in Yerevan and 9 in the regions. Areximbank Gazprombank Group was founded in 1998. Gazprombank OJSC is the sole owner of the bank.
