Over Q3 2012 Armenia's insurance market grew by 22.5% to $73.8 mln
ArmInfo. Over Q3 2012 Armenia's insurance market grew by 22.5% or 5 bln AMD to 30 bln AMD ($73.8 mln). According to the Ranking of Insurance Companies of Armenia by the Agency of Rating Marketing Information (ArmInfo), the insurance premiums of Armenian insurers grew by 70% over year.
Rosgosstrakh Armenia is in the lead by the premiums collected over Jan-Sept 2012 (7.8 bln AMD, 38% growth versus Jan-Sept 2011). INGO Armenia ranks next with 7.6 bln AMD (90% growth). RESO is the third with 4.4 bln AMD (2-fold growth). Nairi Insurance is the fourth with 3.5 bln AMD (60% growth), Garant Insurance is the fifth with 3 bln AMD (more than 2-fold growth). RASCO and SIL Insurance rank next with 1.6 bln AMD and 1.1 bln AMD respectively.
According to ArmInfo's Ranking, over Q3 2012 the insurance payments of the Armenian insurance market increased by 63% to 9.8 bln AMD. Rosgosstrakh Armenia made the biggest volume of payments - 3.2 bln AMD. INGO Armenia is the second with 2.4 bln AMD, Nairi Insurance is the third with 1.2 bln AMD, Garant Insurance is the fourth with 1.1 bln AMD, RESO is the fifth with 950 mln AMD. RASCO and SIL Insurance paid 467 mln AMD and 465 mln AMD respectively.
