In Jan-Sept 2012 assets of Armenia's insurance companies grew by 35.5% to $93.3mln
ArmInfo. In Jan-Sept 2012 the assets of Armenia's insurance companies grew by 35.5% to 38bln AMD or $93.3mln.
According to ArmInfo's Ranking of Insurance Companies of Armenia, in Q3 2012 alone the assets decreased by 2.3%, as compared with Q3 2011 they grew by 46%. INGO Armenia, Rosgosstrakh Armenia and RESO have the biggest assets - 9.6bln AMD (64.3% growth), 9bln AMD (40.7% growth) and 5.1bln AMD (64.8% growth), respectively. The assets of Nairi Insurance made up 4.5bln AMD, those of Garant Insurance 3.8bln AMD. RASO and Sil Insurance have the smallest assets - 3.4bln AMD and 2.4bln AMD, respectively.
The receivables of the companies totaled 9.1bln AMD - 3 times as much as in Q3 2011 but 21.3% less than in Q2 2012. The share of cash in the assets made up 2% or 742.4mln.
