In 2012 Areximbank-Gazprombank Group's expenses on staff social security program exceeded 84 mln AMD
ArmInfo. In 2012 Areximbank-Gazprombank Group CJSC's expenses on the staff social security program exceeded 84 mln AMD, which is by 31% more than in 2011. The press service of the Bank told ArmInfo that the given program has been operating in the Bank since 2010.
The program pursues several goals: to enhance the staff's social security level, to encourage the key specialists and to form the employees' confidence in the future.
The system of Areximbank-GPB Group's staff social security implies various kinds of privileges and material payments, for example, provision of additional paid leaves, material assistance in case of marriages, anniversaries, birth of children, death of the family members, etc. The employees may also receive material assistance in case of force majeure situations (casualty, loss of property, assistance for treatment of the immediate family, etc.). The Bank employees also receive monthly benefits during the child-care leave and other benefits.
According to the Analysis and Financial Ratings of the Armenian Banks by the Agency of Rating Marketing Information (ArmInfo), in 2012 the total expenditures of Areximbank-GPB Group amounted to 11 bln AMD (36.9% y-o-y growth). In their structure 35.7%, or 3.9 bln AMD fell on administrative costs (20.6% y-o-y growth). As of late 2012, there were 462 employees at the Bank (196 employees at the head office and 266 at branches). The Bank has 16 branches, 7 of them in Yerevan and 9 in the regions of Armenia.
