Arminfo. An independent member of Board of Directors of Ameriabank, Robert von Rekowsky, will arrive in Armenia on 19 April for business meetings and sharing experience with businessmen. He occupies the position of vice-president of Emerging Markets Strategy and the portfolio manager of Fidelity Investments company and has got more then 23 years of experience in international assets management.
As press-service of Ameriabank reported, Robert von Rekowsky is going to use his experience in Armenia. He hopes to be useful to Ameriabank in the context of introduction of the best experience and knowledge on the corporative management and business potential.
Robert von Rekowsky with over 23 years of experience in global asset management is a vice-president at Emerging Markets Strategy, which supports the emerging market equity/debt teams and portfolio manager for Fidelity Investments. Robert currently manages several institutional and retail emerging market equity funds for U.S. and Canadian investors.
Robert joined Fidelity's fixed-income division in 1989. In 1995, he moved along with the emerging markets debt group into the company's high-income division as a sovereign debt analyst. Robert continued in that role while working out of Fidelity's London office from 1996 to mid-1998, when he moved into European equity research. From mid-1998 to 2002, Robert split his time as a research analyst between emerging and pan-European equities and he acted as sector leader for emerging markets in London.
From 2002 to 2004, Robert was an associate fund manager for the emerging markets funds, responsible for the EMEA region. In 2004, Robert relocated to Boston to assume responsibility for Fidelity's global emerging market equity funds, which currently total $4.0 billion in assets.
