Areximbank-Gazprombank Group constantly improves its operating risk management system


ArmInfo. The operating risk management methodology applied by Areximbank-Gazprombank Group is the same as the one applied by Gazprombank Group and is one of the best in Armenia's banking system, says the bank's press service.

"Gazprombank was one of the first to adopt the role model. It fully complies with the requirements of the Basel Committee and is applied in all subsidiaries of the Group. We are constantly enlarging our operating risk register by keeping record of all risky events and their consequences and are improving our risk management system by applying special risk indicators," says the source.

Gazprombank bought 80% of Areximbank in Nov 2007. In July 2008 Gazprombank's stake grew to 94.15%, in Sept 2008 to 100%.
