In Q2 2013 mortgage loan book of Armenian banks grew by 0.8% to $325.8mln


ArmInfo. In Jan-June 2013 as compared with Jan-June 2012 the mortgage loan book of Armenia's banks grew by 10.3% to 133.5bln AMD ($325.8mln) or 7.5% of all loans. In Q2 2013 the index grew by 0.8%.

According to ArmInfo's Ranking of Banks of Armenia, the top three in this segment are VTB Bank (Armenia) - 14.2ln AMD, Unibank - 13.9bln AMD and HSBC Bank Armenia - 13.6bln AMD.

Armenian Development Bank registered the biggest quarterly growth in the index - 13.3%, Areximbank-Gazprombank Group the biggest annual growth - 69.3%, with ProCreditBank recording the biggest quarterly and annual drops - 17% and 54%, respectively.
