Areximbank-Gasprombank Group to increase SME credit portfolio up to $31 million in 2014
Arminfo. Areximbank-Gasprombank Group is going to increase SME credit portfolio up to $31 million in 2014, press-service of the bank reported.
"In 2013 the bank increased much the volumes of small and medium-sized business crediting up to 10% or $21 million out of the total credit portfolio of the bank", - the head of the SME crediting department of the bank, Martin Torosyan, said. He also added that according to the results of 2013, the bank gave credits to 140 SME companies. "At present we can originate loans to representatives of all the branches of economy in Armenian drams as well as US dollars for 7 years with an interest rate 11-13%", - Torosyan said.
Crediting of small and medium-sized business is a strategically important direction fixed in the development programme of the bank for 2014-2016. An active SME crediting is being also implemented within the frames of the bank's participation in the WB programme.
To note, the Russian Gasprombank is the owner of 100% shares of the CJSC "Areximbank-Gazprombank Group".
