Converse Bank prepares pleasant summer surprises for Woman's Card holders


ArmInfo. The Converse Bank has prepares pleasant summer surprises for Woman's Card holders.

The press service of Converse Bank reports that by obtaining MasterCard Standard Woman's Card till Oct 30 2014 the bank's subscribers will enjoy an easier procedure for getting credit lines worth up to 1mln AMD. For payroll card scheme the rate on such loans will be 20% against 22% for other card holders.

The holders will also enjoy a free of charge travel insurance policy for 15-day trip abroad and discounts at travel agencies.

One more surprise for Woman's card holders is Converse Bank-INGO Armenia joint project – CASCO for Women insurance policy for 70,000 AMD against usual 77,500 AMD.

According to the Analytical Review "Armenian Banks in Card Business" by the Agency of Rating Marketing Information (ArmInfo), Converse Bank holds the fifth position by the total number of its active cards (about 130 thsd cards as of 1 April 2014) and the second position by the number of its active MasterCards (over 35 thsd cards as of 1 April 2014). The share of salary projects in the total number of active cards is more than 34%. The Bank issued about 27 thsd cards, with over 5 thsd being MasterCards. In terms of plastic transactions Converse Bank holds the 6th position (25.2% year over year growth). As of 1 April 2014, the Bank had 84 ATMs (6th position) and 374 POS terminals (5th position). In terms of the balance on the credit cards (overdraft inclusive), the Bank holds the second position. Along with ArCa local cards, the Bank issues and services international Visa and MasterCards.

To note, Converse Bank CJSC was founded in 1993. The shareholders of the Bank are "Advanced Global Investments" LLC (95%) and the Mother See of Holy Echmiadzin (5%). The Bank has 35 branches.
