Areximbank-Gazprombank Group provides nonchip Visa Gold and MasterCard Gold cards


ArmInfo. Areximbank-Gazprombank Group has launched a campaign to provide nonchip Visa Gold and MasterCard Gold cards.

The press service of the bank reports that the cards will be provided for one year with no security deposit and with a service fee of 2,000 AMD in whatever currency required.

In order to get the cards you will have to obtain a coupon at any of the bank's branches. The coupons for MasterCard Standard cards issued during the previous campaign can be exchanged for one-year MasterCard Gold cards (no security deposit, 1,000 AMD service fee, required currency).

The customers using POS-terminals and e-commerce will be provided 1% cash-back if they buy something using Areximbank's Visas and MasterCards.

According to ArmInfo's Armenian Banks in Card Business bulletin, Areximbank-Gazprombank Group is in the top ten in terms of the number of active cards. As of Apr 1 2014 it had over 20,000 Visas and over 12,000 MasterCards (9.1% and 36.5% more than on Apr 1 2013). The bank has 316 POS-terminals (8th place), 79 ATMs (9th place). Areximbank-Gazprombank Group was the first Armenian bank to become principal Visa member.

Areximbank-Gazprombank Group was founded in 1998. Gazprombank (Russia) has been its sole shareholder since 2007.
