Employees of Areximbank-Gazprombank Group support residents of borderline villages in Tavush marz
ArmInfo. Areximbank-Gazprombank Group has taken part in the benevolent campaign to support the residents of the borderline villages in Tavush marz, Armenia. The campaign is organized jointly with the editorial staff of Armenia Turisticheskaya (Tourist Armenia) magazine, the press service of the Bank has told ArmInfo.
"Under the social programs implemented by the Bank, we pay focused attention to the vulnerable public strata, first of all, to children", says Yelena Markova, Advisor to Director General of Areximbank-Gazprombank Group.
"The employees of our Bank have immediately responded to the magazine's request to provide the vulnerable groups with essentials. We gathered several bags of warm clothes, footwear, toys and infant food literally within two days. I hope such campaigns will become a good example for other representatives of Armenian business as well", she added.
Yelena Shuvayeva-Petrosyan, journalist, writer, editor-in-chief of Armenia Turisticheskaya, says that the magazine employees are trying to do everything possible to help the vulnerable residents of the borderline villages of Armenia. "The Armenian borderline villages, which stood in the breach during the Karabakh war can be called small states separated from the world. They live according to their own rules and traditions. Over the past 20 years their main task has been to survive in war and in peace. We are very grateful to those who have responded to our call and proved that there should be no other folks' troubles in our country", she says.
