Armenian Motor Insurers' Bureau warns car owners about 100,000 AMD fine for absence of obligatory motor insurance contract
ArmInfo. The Armenian Motor Insurers' Bureau has warned car owners that their obligatory motor insurance contracts will shortly expire and that they must conclude new ones.
The press service of the Bureau reports that those who will fail to do it will have to pay 100,000 AMD fine.
According to the law, for each 10 days of not having a new contract a car owner should pay 5,000 AMD but no more than 100,000 AMD for a year.
Obligatory motor insurance was introduced in Armenia on Jan 1 2011.
