Armenian insurance companies increase assets by 2,5% for 3Q
Arminfo. The aggregate assets of insurance companies of Armenia (including the insurance company "Garant Insurance") amounted to 44,1 billion AMD by 1 October 2014, by 2,5% more for the 3Q. The big actors of the market provided the quarter growth of the given indicator: the insurance company "Rosgosstrakh Armenia" - by 10%, "INGO Armenia" by 6,1%, "Sil Insurance" - by 4,5% and "Armenia Insurance" - by 1,2%. As for the insurance companies, "RESO", "Nairi Insurance" and "Garant Insurance", their assets decreased for the 3Q by 9,7%, 9% and 0,6% respectively. The assets of the insurance companies decreased by 4,6% versus the 3Q 2013.
According to the Ranking of Armenian insurance companies prepared by Arminfo, the quarter growth of assets was conditioned by the growth of the short-term receivable by 11,4%, of the circulating financial investments - by 5,9% and of the circulating assets - by 4%, whereas monetary funds and their equivalents reduced by 69,4%.
According to the results of the 3Q, the share of the circulating assets in the structure of the assets of Armenian insurance companies was 88% or 38.7 billion AMD (by 3,3% less versus the 3Q 2013. The share of the circulating financial investments was 61,6% or 27.2 billion AMD (by 3,2% less versus the 3Q 2013). The sort-term receivables amounted to 9.8 billion AMD or 22,1% in assets (by 6,1%less versus the 3Q 2013). The share of the monetary funds and their equivalents in the total assets was 1,05% or 463.5 million AMD (by 43,8% less versus the 3Q 2013).
According to the Ranking, by the volume of assets the insurance company "Rosgosstrakh Armenia" is the first - 12.9 billion AMD (by 11,6% more versus the 3Q 2013). "INGO Armenia" is the second - 12.6 billion AMD (by 15,8% more). "Nairi Insurance" is the third - 4.8 billion AMD (by 17,5% less). The forth is "RESO", the assets of which amounted to 4.7 billion AMD (by 46% less). "Armenia Insurance" is the fifth - 4 billion AMD (by 15,2% more). "Sil Insurance" is the sixth - 3.2 billion AMD (by 3,6% more). "Garant Insurance" had the least size of assets by the results of the 3Q 2014 - 1.9 billion AMD (by 28,1% less versus the 3Q 2013). The data of this insurance company will not be presented in the insurance ranking of ArmInfo, as it joined the insurance company "Rosgosstrakh Armenia".
