ACBA-Credit Agricole Bank has launched its 56th branch ("Teryan") in Yerevan. The ribbon-cutting ceremony took place at 7, Sayat Nova Avenue, on June 1. This is already the second branch opened in Yerevan since the beginning of 2015, and the fourth newly-opened branch - the regional ones inclusive. The Bank is going to open two more branches in the provinces in 2015.
The press office of ACBA-Credit Agricole Bank has told ArmInfo that the "Teryan" branch is equipped with advanced technological facilities and it will provide the customers with the entire spectrum of banking services. From June 1 till July 3 2015, the customers of ACBA-Credit Agricole Bank will enjoy an opportunity to receive loans and credit lines, whose interest rates will be by 1% lower than the
usual rates. The interest rates of the deposits will be 1% higher than the usual rates in the Bank. The customers ordering an American Express Blue card will be exempted from commission fees within the
first year.
The source also says that the new branch will have a terminal enabling the citizens to make utility payments (for electric power, gas, water supply), fixed and mobile telephone services, internet
services (Ucom, Orange, VivaCell, Beeline), as well as to redeem loans, replenish the deposit accounts, transfer money to the current accounts or to the card accounts. No fee will be levied in the course of money transactions via the terminal.
To note, "ACBA-Credit Agricole Bank" CJSC has been operating in Armenia since 1995. Since September 2006, the majority shareholders of the Bank have been Credit Agricole S.A. (15.56%) and SJSC "Sacam International" (part of Credit Agricole S.A - 12.44%). Along with them, 10 agricultural cooperative unions hold shares in the capital of ACBA- Credit Agricole Bank. By its branch network the Bank is ranked the second in the Armenian banking system (56 branches, including 41 in the provinces).
