Anelik Bank has joined Converse Transfer system of money remittances, the Bank's press-office told ArmInfo. From now on, the Bank's customers - privates can make money transfers within Armenia and CIS without the need to open a bank account. Money remittance can be made in terms of the national drams, Russian rubles, US dollars and euros.
"Anelik Bank is focusing on permanent expansion of its services and gives an opportunity to its customers to chose the most convenient products for them. Via the payment system Converse Transfer a money remittance takes a couple of minutes," says Astghik Martirosyan, Public Relations Officer at Anelik Bank CJSC.
Converse Transfer has become the 7th money transfer system Anelik Bank offers its customers along with Money Gram, Anelik, Intel Express, UNIstream, Sigue Money Transfer, and Avers. The Central
Bank of Armenia licensed the Converse Transfer Armenian payment system on June 3 2014. The system is designed for non-commercial money remittances without a bank account. Converse Transfer is available in over 15 countries. By the latest data, the system is provided by the Converse Bank, MOBIDRAM CJSC, RNKO Payment Center (non-resident), Telcell CJSC payment system, Prometey Bank, ACBA-Credit Agricole Bank, Areximbank-Gazprobank Group, Armbusinessbank, and VTB Bank (Armenia). The commission fee is 1% of the remittance amount.
To note, in Feb 2009 CreditBank S.A.L. became a shareholder of Anelik Bank with a 51% stake. In Q4 2013, CreditBank S.A.L. became the sole owner of Anelik Bank by increasing its stake from 89.95% to 100%. In December 2012, the Moscow-based Anelik RU branch was alienated from Anelik Bank. Later Credit Bank S.A.L. received the rights to own Anelik RU.
