In May, 2015 there were alienated 1723 units of land area in Armenia with total floor space of 1027.07 ha. According to the data from the State Committee of cadastre of real estate of RA, out of the total number of alienated units of land area 96 units (6.13 ha) were located in Yerevan.
According to our source, there were alienated 1056 units (955 ha) of agricultural land areas, out of which 11 units (1.05 ha) are located in Yerevan. There were alienated 451 units (42.78 ha) of land areas for the house building, out of which 54 units (2.41 ha) are located in Yerevan. There were alienated 121 units (12.55 ha) of areas for community building, out of which 29 units (2.62 ha) are in Yerevan.
There were alienated 15 units (5.28 ha) of lands of industrial purposes, out of which 2 units (0.05 ha) in Yerevan. Out of the total number of units alienated during the May, 2015 1492 units (950.06 ha) were subject to buy and sell, out of which 77 units (5 ha) were sold in Yerevan. The number of land transactions during the year decreased for 1%. Whereas, transactions on sale of the agricultural lands increased for 10.8%. Land sale for housebuilding demonstrated decrease in the annual breakdown for 15.8%. Sale of industrial lands decreased for 14.3% during the year. The largest volume of land transactions during the May was made in Armavir region - 289.97 ha, out of which 285.52 ha were agricultural lands. The floor space of the land pledged during the May, 2015 was 83.6 ha, out
of which 3.39 ha are located in the capital city. 91,4% or 76.41 ha pledged during the reporting period are agricultural. In the regions the most land pledge cases were reported in Armavir region 26.26 ha,
out of which 26.04 ha are agricultural.
