ArmInfo. In Jan-Sept 2015, ferromolybdenum production in Armenia dropped by 11.9% versus the same period of 2014 to 4.2 thousand tons.
According to the National Statistical Service of Armenia, in September 2015, the ferromolybdenum output totaled 551 tons, which was twice as much as in August.
In Jan-Sept 2015, the molybdenum concentrate output in Armenia dropped by 9.6% to 7.9 thousand tons (up 34.1% to 884 tons in September alone), the molybdenum metal briquettes output increased by 0.9% to 562 tons for Jan-Sept, and by 3.2% to 64 tons in Sept alone.
Blister copper output rose by 9.3% to 8,000 tons (up 12.1% to 1.2 thousand tons in September). Copper concentrate output grew by - 55.1% to 222.6 thousand tons (up nearly 8-fold to 168.6 thousand tons in September alone).
Aluminum foil output was up 2.3% to 22.2 thousand tons (up 4.6% to 2.3 thousand tons in Sept), rolled aluminum output dropped by 7.2% to 10.3 tons.The production of steel pipes grew by 16.4% to 7.9 thousand tons (down 4% to 820 tons in Sept), and the zinc concentrate output decreased by 10.6% to 9.3 thousand tons (736 tons in September ands as much in August).
The metals are exported mostly to Europe and the United States.
