ArmInfo. Russia is interested in import of the Armenian agricultural products, but Armenia cannot meet the demand of the Russian market at full for lack of capacities. Karen Martirosyan, Executive Director at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCI) of Yerevan, told ArmInfo after the Third November
Forum of Businessmen held on the platform of the regional park of information technologies in Omsk on November 26-27.
He said that at the event, the businessmen in Omsk were informed of the export opportunities to Kazakhstan, Armenia, Belarus, Kyrgyzstan, Georgia, Iran, Armenia and China.
"Armenia was introduced to the Russian companies as the safest and most favorable country for joint business investments," Martirosyan said. The major obstacle to the joint business with the Omsk
businessmen is the logistic problems, he said. The Russian market needs Armenian agricultural products, but Armenia is so far unable to satisfy the growing demand for lack of capacities, Martirosyan said.
