VTB Bank has the highest brand awareness on Armenia banking market

ArmInfo. According to the survey conducted by the Gallup International Association (GIA) representative office in Armenia, VTB Bank has the highest brand awareness on Armenia's banking market, the bank's press-service reports.

According to the source, the results of the survey conducted in November of 2015 among 1106 respondents of different age groups have shown that  VTB Bank (Armenia) continues to hold the leadership position among Armenian banks and has the first place with 57% of brand awareness. The Bank also holds leadership by the quality of provided services; 26% of respondents said VTB Bank (Armenia) is the best.

Director of Armenia's office of Gallup International Association Aram Navasardyan congratulated and handed the diploma "Best Bank of Armenia 2015" to the General Director and Chairman of board of Bank VTB (Armenia) closed joint stock company Yury Gusev.  "VTB Bank (Armenia) has high position on the market having not only partners and clients' but also population's credibility. I wish the bank new achievements", Navasardyan noted.

The General Director and Chairman of board of Bank VTB (Armenia) Yury Gusev expressing gratitude to the VTB staff noted that the Bank has been awarded "the best bank" for the second time by the results of GIA survey. "We are very glad with the fact that population of Armenia when choosing a bank is guided not only by the scope and quality of services but also by the stability of the banks and chooses international financial group VTB. We will further hold the leadership position and meet clients' expectations", Gusev summarized. 

To note, the poll was conducted from 22 till 29 November and covered all communities of Yerevan and Armenia's regions. A total of 1,106 respondents participated in the survey choosing method of  "face to face" interview.  According to the conducted survey among universal credit organizations FINCA is on the first place by its awareness -70%, and Rosgosstrakh Armenia is on the first place among insurance comapnies-73%.  

To recall, Bank VTB (Armenia) closed joint stock company became a member of VTB financial group in April 2004.  The second biggest Russian bank, Bank VTB ojsc is now the full owner of Bank VTB (Armenia). The bank is among leaders of Armenian banking system in a number of basic indicators. It currently has the biggest branch network in Armenia.
