Zangezur Copper Molybdenum Combine ranks next (by rising by 2 positions on the list). K-Telecom (VivaCell-MTS) is the third (down by 1 position). Alex Grig is the fourth (down by 1 position), with Vorotan Hydro Cascade being the fifth (sharp rise from the 43rd position).
In 2015 Gazprom Armenia paid 42.9 bln AMD in taxes (477.1 mln AMD in customs duties, 7.8 bln AMD in direct taxes (including profit tax and income tax), 34 bln AMD in indirect taxes (including VAT and excise tax).
Zangezur Copper Molybdenum Combine paid 27.5 bln AMD (1.2 bln AMD in customs duties, 10 bln AMD in direct taxes, 1.7 bln AMD in indirect taxes".
K-Telecom paid 18.6 bln AMD (950.5 mln AMD in customs duties, 4.2 bln AMD in direct taxes, 12.6 bln AMD in indirect taxes).
Alex Grig paid 18.2 bln AMD in taxes (10.5 bln AMD in customs duties, 1.3 bln AMD in direct taxes and 14.2 bln AMD in indirect taxes).
Vorotan Hydro Cascade paid 16.9 bln AMD (2.5 mln AMD in customs duties, 1.7 bln AMD in direct taxes and 15.2 bln AMD in indirect taxes).
A year before, the top five taxpayers were Gazprom Armenia (leader since 2012), K-Telecom, Alwex Grig, Zangezur Copper Molybdenum Combine and Armenia Telephone Company (ArmenTel).
