ArmInfo. Ameriabank has opened a new branch in Yerevan on March 4. The new branch named "Yertasardakan" ("Youth") opened at a subway-located Metronom Trade Center in the city center (Isahakyan Street 22/11).

Talking to reporters, Arman Barseghyan, the head of Retail Banking Department at Ameriabank, said the new branch will be operating 11-hours a day (from 10:30am until 11:30pm) 7 days a week. An ATP and payment terminal have been installed near the branch for 24/7 self-service.

"Thanks to the well-equipped office, highly qualified team and special 24/7 operation, the new branch is very comfortable for customers. Under its strategy, the Bank creates all the conditions to be as customer- friendly as possible. The branch is located in the city center and will attract and serve more customers," Barseghyan said.  In his words, the branch is universal and provides a full spectrum of banking services. In addition, there are terminals for customers to make a range of transactions, such as transfer of money from one to another account, payment of utility bills, and other operations.  Barseghyan said the given branch is the 12th in succession. The bank plans to open another branch within the year. He recalled that the bank has a similar 24/7 branch at Yerevan Mall.

It is noteworthy that the privates and legal entities that will open an account at Ameriabank by applying to the "Yeritasardakan" branch by June 1 2016, will receive banking services of preferential terms.  Legal entities will be offered a Business Card and on-line/mobile banking (up to two users) with free service for a period of one year.  Privates are offered free foreign exchange account in any currency and free connection to On-line Ameriabank system. The new customers applying to "Yeritasaradakan" branch will be offered ArCa Classic, Visa Electron, or Cirrus Maestro with free one-year service and Visa/MasterCard Gold and Visa/MasterCard Platinum at 50% discount for the first year of service. The branch makes a special offer on occasion of the International Women's Day. Female customers that will apply to "Yeritasardakan" branch in the period from March 4 up to March 9 for plastic cards Visa Gold and MasterCard Gold will receive free service for the first year.

Ameriabank shareholders are Ameria Group  CY Ltd with 80% stake and EBRD with 20% stake.
