ArmInfo. ACBA-Credit Agricole Bank continues holding free business-seminars for the heads of small and medium enterprises. As the press service of the bank informed ArmInfo, recently the first business-seminar of 2016 has finished, the topics of which were "Optimization of Business Management" and "Practical Marketing". The next business-seminar for the heads for SMEs will be held on May 24-27.
CEO of ACBA-Credit Agricole Bank Hakob Andreasyan made a speech during the opening of that seminar: "This program is aimed at assisting efficient management of the small and medium enterprises running in Armenia. The number of the participants growing from year to year and received positive feedback confirm the efficiency of the program, related to which the bank intends to consistently develop and regularly hold business-seminars," Andreasyan stated in his speech.
ACBA-Credit Agricole Bank was the first bank in Armenia to launch regular free business-seminars to assist its customer-SMEs. Since last year all the other heads of SMEs, who are not the bank's clients are also eligible to apply. The first seminar for SME leaderships this year was held on February 23-26, while the last seminar in 2015 was held in November.

According to ArmInfo's Financial Rating of the Armenian Banks, SME accounts for nearly 20% of the Bank's loan portfolio or more than 75bln drams. ACBA-Credit Agricole Bank's SME finance portfolio accounts for some 6% of the total SME finance in the banking system of Armenia.
To note that the "ACBA-Credit Agricole Bank" is functioning in Armenia since 1995, initially under the name Cooperative Agricultural Bank. Since September 2006, Credit Agricole SA of the largest European banking group becomes the majority shareholder of the bank with the share of equity of 15.56%, followed by the largest participation of SJSC "Sacam International" corporation (member of Credit Agricole SA) - 12,44%, in addition to which there are 10 Unions of Farmer's Assistance (UFA) participating in the capital. Coverage of the branch network and the number of regional branches of the bank takes the second position - 56 units, most of which are located in the regions (41 branches) ensuring the presence in all regions of Armenia, without exception. According to key balance sheet figures ACBA-Credit Agricole Bank in 2015 strengthened its position in the TOP-5.
