ArmInfo. The Central Bank of Armenia (CBA) has not interfered in the situation on the forex market for almost a month. Neither has it conducted any interventions to prevent the national currency from depreciating, the CBA has told ArmInfo, thereby refuting the information disseminated by the agency about the CBA's active measures on the forex market. "The CBA has conducted no interventions since March 9 and the information based on the assumptions of forex dealers has nothing to do with the reality," the CBA says.
To recall, on March 9, the transactions on the forex market amounted to almost $2 mln and the AMD appreciated from 492 to 490 against USD.
