ArmInfo. A national platform on the basis of SAP Business One software will be developed in Armenia; the Armenian government headed by Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan signed today the relevant memorandum on understanding with SAP company. 

Armenian Economy Minister Artsvik Minasyan and SAP Global Vice President Joost Tigelaar signed the document, the press-service of the government reports.

According to the document national platform on the basis of SAP Business One software will be developed in Armenia. It was announced that the system will unite IT field of Armenia-leading universities, state agencies, institutes and structures, responsible for the development of SME in Armenia. "The system developed on the basis of SAP Business One solution will be aimed mainly at assisting the enterprises of small and medium business, and at automation of business processes of relevant organizations. The program will assist also to opening of new job places in IT field of Armenia, the statement of government informs.

SAP Business One is business management software designed for small and medium-sized enterprises, sold by the German company SAP SE. As an ERP solution, it aims to automate key business functions in financials, operations, and human resources.
