Areximbank-GPB Group staff members visit schools in Armavir region under My Finance Month-2016 project

ArmInfo. Under My Finance Month-2016 project, Areximbank- Gazprombank (GPB) Group staff members have visited the schools in Noravan and Lukashin, Armavir region, Armenia, and held lessons for upper-form pupils on the topic "Financial System of Armenia."

Areximbank-GPB Group told ArmInfo, the Bank representatives dwelled upon the banking sector of Armenia, told the students about the international money transfers, payment cards, lending, depositing, and answers the questions of those present, including the teaching staffs and the leaderships of the schools. 

"Our lectures proved very interesting to the pupils and the teaching staffs," says Gayane Matevosyan, the Head of the Human Resources Development Department at Areximbank-GPB Group. "The pupils took an interest in the payment cards and credit products. They learned much about the country, its financial and banking system. We are very satisfied with the results of our meetings. Hopefully, these meetings will become traditional and consistent," she said.

The Bank plans a meeting at another school in Yerevan.

The project My Finance Month -2016 has been implemented at the initiative of the Central Bank of Armenia for several years already. Its major goal is to upgrade the financial awareness of the citizens and introduce the financial services and products available in the market.
