ArmInfo. Nagorno Karabakh's Prime Minister Arayik Harutyunyan received on May 20 the heads of a number of banks operating on the territory of the country. During the discussion issues related to further development of Nagorno-Karabakh's banking sector were discussed.
As the press-service of Nagorno-Karabakh's government informed ArmInfo, during the meeting Harutyunyan noted the impossibility of economy's development without due level of development of the banking sector. In this context he stressed the importance of attracting financial flows in the economy of the country, due to which serious results have been achieved in several fields during recent years. According to him the established environment of confidence between the government and private lending sector has promising future.
The heads of lending institutions in their turn expressed gratitude for consistent support. They also expressed readiness to continue active assistance in development of economy of the country. The representatives of the banking sector noted that there are sufficient conditions for implementation of investment programs in the country.
