Armenia may have a GLONASS station

ArmInfo. Russia plans to build earth-based stations for monitoring of signals of GLONASS system in Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, and Nicaragua, according to Assistant Director General of the Russian Roscosmos Space Agency Sergey Savelyev.

"All the stations will be built this year," he said adding that negotiations are underway with some more countries for construction of stations, GLONASS Vestnik reported.
