ArmInfo. Starting from July 15, 2016, Ukraine International Airlines (UIA) will be operating 14 flights a week instead of current 7 on the direction Kyiv-Yerevan-Kyiv.
The press office of "ARMENIA'' INTERNATIONAL AIRPORTS" CSJC has told ArmInfo that this destination has recently started to become more popular especially for passengers, who have chosen Europe as their final destination.
According to the official website of Ukraine International Airlines, UIA is operating Boeing aircraft since its foundation in 1992. Using one type of the aircrafts allows UIA to considerably reduce technical maintenance expenses and crew training costs. The company has its own unique for Ukraine base of full technical and engineering maintenance of Boeing aircraft, which allows providing technical services not only to own UIA aircraft but to render these services to other airlines. Such full range of technical maintenance ensures the highest level of UIA reliability and aviation safety. Ukraine International Airlines' fleet consists of 36 aircraft: 4 long-haul wide-body Boeing 767-300ER, 17 Boeing 737 Next Generation, 10 Boeing 737 (including one freighter 737-300SF), and 5 medium-haul Embraer-E190.
