ArmInfo. Central Bank of Armenia and Davis Center for Russian and Eurasian Studies (DCRES) signed memorandum of understanding. The press-service of the Armenian Central Bank informed ArmInfo, that the Deputy Chairman of the Bank Nerses Yeritsyan and Executive Director of the Center Alexandra Vacroux signed the document.
According to the memorandum Dilijan Training and Research Center under the CBA will annually host 3-4 students from Harvard University, who will conduct surveys in Armenia and in the region for the period of their internship. Harvard University in turn will annually host 2 employees of the Central Bank for conducting academic research in the field of finances, macroeconomics and public management.
The cooperation between the CBA and the Harvard University was established three years ago while due to signing of memorandum it turns into a long-term partnership.
The interdisciplinary Russian Research Center (RRC) at Harvard University was founded in 1948. Nowadays Davis Center for Russian and Eurasian Studies is the intellectual home of Harvard scholars and students with an interest in this critical region of the world.
