ArmInfo. Precious metals have dropped in prices in Armenia over current week. Thus, in current week precious metals dropped in prices by 0.4% versus 1.8% growth in previous week. Prices on gold, silver and platinum dropped, while palladium maintained upward trend, the rates of which slackened insignificantly.
The State Depository of Precious Metals and Precious Stones of the Armenian Ministry of Finance has told ArmInfo that the following selling prices have been set for precious metals for July 27-July 31: gold (small bullions) - 20288,75 AMD per 1g (1.2% decline versus the previous week), silver - 300.93 AMD (3.3% decline versus 1.4% growth the previous week), platinum - 16617,64 AMD (0.6% drop versus 1.5 % growth in previous week) and palladium - 10065.81 AMD (3.5% growth versus 5.1% growth in previous week). Since the beginning of the year the prices on precious metals have grown by 24.4%, silver registered the highest growth in prices-36.2%, followed by platinum-22.8%, gold- 21.9% and palladium-16.7%.
By the data of the international stock markets as of July 27, 2016, 2:46 pm Moscow time, the spot price of 1 troy ounce of gold made up $1320.4(no changes versus July 26), silver - $19.69 (0.05% growth versus July 26), platinum - $1098 (no changes versus July 26) and palladium - $691 (no changes versus July 26).
