ArmInfo. Armenian Telephone Company (trademark Beeline) again topped the list of the largest taxpayer telecommunication operators in Armenia, after paying 5.9bln
drams taxes to budget in First half of 2016, of which 595.4mln drams were customs taxes, 3bln drams - direct taxes (including profit and income taxes) and 2.2bln drams - indirect taxes (including VAT and excise tax). ArmenTel is on the 7th place in the list of the 1,000 largest taxpayers of Armenia versus last year's 5th place. According
to the State Revenue Committee of Armenia, top five operators paid 14.4bln drams taxes in the first half of 2016, of which 7bln drams being direct taxes and 4.2bln drams- indirect ones.
K-Telecom (trademark VivaCell-MTS) paid 4.8bln drams taxes, including 2.6 bln drams direct taxes and 730.2bln drams indirect ones taking the 13th place (9th place in 2015) in the list of the 1000 largest taxpayers in Armenia.
Ucom paid 2.6bln drams taxes, including 890.4mln drams direct taxes and 1.1bln drams - indirect ones, taking 21st place (78th place in 2015) in the list of the largest taxpayers in Armenia. GNC Alpha (trademark Rostelecom) paid 352mln drams taxes, of which 287mln drams were direct taxes and 46.6mln drams were indirect ones. The company took the 164th place (231st in 2015) in the list of the top 1,000 taxpayers in Armenia.
In the first half of 2015, the five operators paid 15mln drams taxes to the state budget in total, of which ArmenTel paid 7.8bln drams. (The exchange rate on June 30 2016 was 476.68AMD/1USD.
