In Jan-June 2016 revenues of communication sector of Armenia dropped by 6.4% versus Jan-June 2015

ArmInfo. In Jan-June 2016, the revenues of the communication sector of Armenia amounted to 75.3 bln AMD (down 6.4% versus Jan-June 2015). According to the National Statistical Service of Armenia, telecommunications secured 95% of the total revenues, or 71.4 bln AMD (down 6.2% versus Jan-June 2015).

The source says that in June 2016 the total revenues of the communication sector grew by 4.4% to 13.1 bln AMD.  Telecommunications secured 12.3 bln AMD (up 3.9% versus May 2016).

For comparison, in Jan-June 2015 the revenues of the communication sector of Armenia totaled 81.1 bln AMD (down 5.4% versus Jan-June 2014), with the share of telecommunications being 76.8 bln AMD (down 6% versus Jan-June 2014).
