ArmInfo. Beeline Armenia and Microsoft Innovation Center in Armenia announce about start of accepting applications for participation in Hackaton contest for innovative ideas and web-development. The contest aims to encourage young people of both technical and humanitarian professions to engage in technological entrepreneurship and suggest innovative solutions for telecommunication sphere.

The press-service of the company has told ArmInfo that in order to take part in the contest one needs to submit an application on the following link http://bit.ly/2c6CDzS till September 25.  According to the source this year Hackaton will be held on October 1 in Yerevan.

Within the contest the participants need to develop prototypes of various solutions in telecommunications field within 12 hours, which will be presented to specialists and mentors. Two teams will be announced winners and will receive prizes worth of USD 1000 and USD 500 respectively.

"One can say that telecommunication is one of the most changing and advancing field, and we as an innovative company are always in the center of these changes. Beeline doesn't just offer modern services to subscribers every day, but also attaches great importance to implementation of such projects, which bring digital innovations. On September 16-17, the organizers will hold meetings for persons interested in participation, where they will provide information on general directions of telecommunication where the teams are supposed to offer solutions. To recall, the network of Microsoft Innovation Centers  (MIC) operates worldwide, providing local IT communities with programs and services to expand work-force skills, create jobs, market incubation for the local startup community, strengthen innovation and improve competitiveness.
