ArmInfo. Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan received the participants in the First International Forum of Eurasian Partnership. The press office of the Armenian President has told ArmInfo that Sargsyan stressed the significance of this event and expressed confidence that each of the participants has an opportunity to make an essential contribution to development of the Forum.
The President expressed hope that the Eurasian Partnership Forum will become an important platform for state, business and public circles of the member countries, and will provide an opportunity to elaborate practical mechanisms to reveal the potential of the countries' cooperation and to consider possible expansion of multilateral economic partnership. Sargsyan also informed the participants of the economic priorities of Armenia.
To note, the goal of the First International Forum of Eurasian Partnership was to foster the integration processes of bilateral and multilateral trade and economic partnership in the Eurasian space. The agenda included issues related to investment environment, business support mechanisms and technological cooperation prospects. The forum participants were representatives of the state structures of the EEU countries, heads of large businesses, banks, investment companies, NGOs, international organizations, as well as scientists and experts from a number of countries.
