ArmInfo. On November 4 Finance Minister of Armenia Vardan Aramyan received French Ambassador to Armenia Jean-Francois Charpentier, the press-service of the Finance Ministry of Armenia informs.
During the meeting the interlocutors discussed issues related to bilateral trade-economic cooperation emphasizing the importance of enlarging bilateral programs. Minister Aramyan particularly noted that French investors, who are making qualitative investments, are always welcomed in Armenia suggesting finding paths to increase their involvement in the country. Particularly, the possibility of opening representations of French companies in Armenia was discussed. The Minister added that the investors should feel certain that they are making justified investments in the right place.
Ambassador Jean-Francois Charpentier agreed with the Minister that bilateral relations have great potential and noted that the French Development Agency is ready for joint activities with the government of Armenia and taking steps aimed at raising efficiency of joint projects considering successful operation of a number of French companies in Armenia.
Vardan Aramyan stressed that the Armenian government is ready to discuss the issue of creating more favorable conditions for the French investor companies.
