ArmInfo. Armenia's Prime Minister Karen Karapetyan and Prime Minister of Artsakh Araik Harutyunyan discussed promotion of cooperation between Armenia and Artsakh.
The press office of the Armenian Government has told ArmInfo that during his working visit to Artsakh, Karapetyan had a face-to-face meeting with his counterpart and then a consultation of the two countries' Cabinets was held.
Karapetyan said that he and Harutyunyan have similar positions on issues of economic development; consequently, the cooperation will be more than effective. He noted that the Armenian Government members will study the situation in the NKR's agrarian and energy sectors. He does not rule out possible creation of a single energy field between the two countries.
For his part, Harutyunyan informed Karapetyan of the NKR's economic indices from 2007 till 2015, as well as a number of projects aimed at attracting investments and developing agriculture.
To note, on November 4, Karen Karapetyan left for Artsakh with several ministers. He has already had meetings with President Bako Sahakyan and lawmakers of Artsakh.
