ArmInfo. Armenian Minister of Agriculture Ignaty Arakelyan and India's Ambassador to Armenia Yogeshwar Sangwan discussed a wide spectrum of issues on the Armenian-Iranian agenda in the agrarian field, the press office of the Ministry of Agriculture has told ArmInfo.
"Armenia and India have a big potential to promote the cooperation in agriculture and it is necessary to take active steps to intensify the partnership outlined by the working group. We are always ready to discuss all mutually beneficial proposals," Arakelyan said.
The interlocutors stressed the importance of promoting mutually beneficial cooperation in a number of areas, such as plant growing, cattle breeding, manufacturing industry, etc. The sides also exchanged their views about the upcoming meeting of the Armenian-Indian working group, which will take place in India in 2017.
