ArmInfo. On January 11, two deputy ministers of energy infrastructures and natural resources of Armenia were dismissed.
By the 11 Jan 2017 decision of Armenian Prime Minister Karen Karapetyan, Deputy Ministers Areg Galstyan and Iosif Isayan have been dismissed, the official website of the Armenian Government reports.
Areg Galstyan has been working in the energy sector of Armenia since 1992. In 1992-1994 he was an advisor to the Energy Minister. In 1994-1997 he was the head of the Science and Personnel Training Department at the Ministry of Energy, and in 1997-2000 he headed the Technical Policy General Department at the Ministry of Energy. In 2000-2008 Galstyan was the Deputy Minister of Energy of Armenia, and since 2008 he has been the Deputy Minister of Energy and Natural Resources of Armenia. His government awards are a Letter of Acknowledgement of Prime Minister and a Medal of Prime Minister.
Iosif Isayan was the Deputy Executive Director at "Armenergo" CJSC in 1996-1999. In 1999-2008 he headed the Financial-Economic General Department at the Ministry of Energy, and was the Deputy Minister of Energy. Since 2008 Isayan has been the Deputy Minister of Energy and Natural Resources of Armenia. His government awards are an Anania Shirakatsi Medal, a Letter of Acknowledgement of Prime Minister, and a Medal of Prime Minister.
