ArmInfo. Araratbank was recognized as "Best Exchange Member in Government Bonds Market" during a special ceremony held in Dilijan city, where the winners of "NASDAQ OMX Armenia Best Member Awards 2016" were announced.

The press office of the Bank has told ArmInfo that in 2016 Araratbank's purchase and sale transactions on NASDAQ OMX Armenia amounted to 27.1 bln AMD (58.8% of the total amount of operations on NASDAQ OMX Armenia).

To note, since 2007 Araratbank has been the Armenian Government's agent managing the government debt (agent on the government bonds market). 

To recall, the NASDAQ OMX Armenia Best Member Award was established by NASDAQ OMX Armenia in 2010. The goal is to motivate the companies providing investment services and the members of NASDAQ OMX Armenia, which are actively involved in trading on various stock markets and which participate in events aimed at developing the capital market of Armenia. The winners are chosen with due regard for the quantity, amount and efficiency of the transactions on NASDAQ OMX Armenia. The Annual Ceremony was held for the 7th time in a row during at which the most active Members of the Exchange and the Depository for the year 2016 were announced.
