ArmInfo. Starting from February 08, 2017 nominal coupon bonds issued by "Ameriabank" CJSC will be listed on NASDAQ OMX Armenia and included in the bonds' main Abond list, the press office of NASDAQ OMX Armenia told ArmInfo.
The source says that the issue of the Bank's bonds comprises 50,000 coupon bonds with nominal value of USD 100, coupon rate of 5.75% and maturity period of 27 months. The bonds (ISIN - AMAMRBB23ER9) will be traded under AMRBB3 ticker symbol and will be allowed to manual and REPO trading as well.
Thus, three issues of Ameriabank's bonds are already listed on NASDAQ OMX Armenia (all of them included in the Abond list): two issues in terms of USD ($15 mln and $5 mln) and 1 in terms of AMD (1 bln AMD). The coupon rates of USD bonds are 6.75% and 5.75% (third and first issues, respectively), and the coupon rate of AMD issues is 10.75% (second issue).
To note, as of 8 Feb 2017, 24 issues of corporate bonds of 9 issuers are listed on NASDAQ OMX Armenia. 15 of the issues were carried out by 6 banks, 13 of them being USD issues: Araratbank - 6 issues (5 in terms of USD), Ameriabank - 3 issues (2 - in terms of USD), Armswissbank - 3 issues (all issues in terms of USD), Anelik Bank, Unibank and Armbusinessbank - 1 issue each (in terms of USD).
Earlier the press service of NASDAQ OMX Armenia reported that starting from January 25, 2017, nominal coupon bonds issued by "AMERIABANK" CJSC will be listed on NASDAQ OMX Armenia and included in the bonds' main Abond list. The issue of the Bank's bonds comprises 10,000 coupon bonds with nominal value of AMD 100,000, coupon rate of 10.75% and maturity period of 24 months. The bonds (ISIN - AMAMRBB22ER1) will be traded under AMRBB2 ticker symbol and will be allowed to manual and REPO trading as well. Along with this, in the middle of 2016 the bank issued coupon USD bonds amounting to $15 mln (the main Abond list on NASDAQ OMX Armenia). At the same time, in June 2016 Ameriabank successfully placed its securities amounting to $20 mln via its investment manager (ResponsAbility Investments AG) in four Luxemburg investment funds, planning to spend the attracted funds on lending to SMEs and financing of energy efficiency and renewable energy programs.
Ameriabank is a universal bank providing investment, corporate and retail banking services. The bank has been operating on the Armenian market since October 31 1996. The branch network of the bank comprises 12 branches, 8 of them in Yerevan and 4 in the provinces. The shareholders are Ameria Group CY Ltd (79.3%) and EBRD (20.7%).
According to Express Ranking of Armenian Banks prepared by ArmInfo, in 2016 the total capital of the bank increased by 8.6% to 64.4 bln drams or $133.1 mln due to growth of accumulated profit by 23.4% to 24.3 bln drams or $50.1 mln and sharp change of revaluation reserve from the negative to a positive level. At the yearend 2016 the Bank had a net profit amounting to 6.2 bln drams or $12.8 mln, ensuring 29.2% growth. The total regulatory capital of the bank amounted to 81.9 bln drams by Jan 1 2017, which exceeds the new minimum capital standard (30 bln drams effective starting from 1 Jan 2017) almost 3-fold. The bank ensured its capital adequacy ratio at the level of 15.87% (versus required min of 12%), overall liquidity - 31.23% (versus required min 15%), day-to-day liquidity - 133.17% (versus required min 60%), against 15.07%, 29.91% and 151.26% respectively in 2015. The bank is among the leaders in terms of lending to industrial sector (including power engineering), agriculture, construction, trade, transport and communications, public catering and services, as well as mortgage lending. The Bank retains leadership also in terms of time deposits and call liabilities.
