ArmInfo. The projects on construction of new facilities in Armenia should be coordinated with the companies engaged in gas, electricity and water supply, Armenian Prime Minister Karen Karapetyan said at the Government's sitting on March 9.
He said that a coordinated approach can increase investments and will rule out any problems. In this regard, he instructed Minister of Energy Infrastructures and Natural Resources Ashot Manukyan to offer Gazprom Armenia, Electric Networks of Armenia and Veolia Jur to familiarize with the ongoing projects within a 5- day period, as well as to propose prompt solutions to the problems together with the heads of local communities. Karapetyan also instructed Chairman of the State Urban Development Committee Narek Sargsyan to present the copies of the contracts signed with the specified companies' investors.
To note, facilities in Armenia are very often built without being coordinated with the gas, electricity and water suppliers, and this results in problems.
