ArmInfo. The Greenhouse facilities complex in Shahumyan community in Ararat province of Armenia, with the support of Spayka company, is going to invest $20 mln in expansion of the production in 2017, Karen Karapetyan was informed yesterday during his visit to Ararat region of the Republic.
According to the Government press-service, the complex was created in 2014 in an area of 50 hectares to produce greenhouse tomatoes, and in an area of 30 hectares to produce radish. In 2014-2016, $30 mln was invested in the complex with Spayka company. In 2017 the complex intends to produce 40 thousand tons of vegetables versus 22 thousand a year before.
It was also reported that Spayka's total amount of investments in agricultural production development and transport totaled over $80mln.
