Putin and Hassan Rouhani agreed on gas cooperation in Armenia

ArmInfo. According to the  results of the negotiations between Vladimir Putin and  Hassan  Rouhani in Moscow  an agreement is reached on cooperation in gas  sector. An appropriate Memorandum   has been signed on Cooperation  between Gazprom and Iranian national Oil 

Company on March 28 during the meeting of  two Presidents .

Gazprom is intended to exchange the  electric power  energy generated  at Hrazdan TPP with Iranian gas, the Vedomosti weekluy reads the  words of Alexey Miller, the Gazprom Board Chairman. Currently the gas  price in Armenia forms USD 150 for 1000 cubic meters. 

The meeting of Hassan Rouhani and Vladimir Putin  took place on March  28 in Moscow. During the negotiations Presidents discussed the  prospective of expansion of trade-economic cooperation and  implementation of new large projects in the sector of energy and  transport infrastructure.
