Suren Karayan and Gloria factory leadership discussed a new investment program

ArmInfo. The Minister of Economic Development and Investments of Armenia Suren Karayan discussed with the leadership of the Vanadzor garment factory "Gloria" the enterprise development program.

As the ministry's press service told ArmInfo, the Director of the company Bagration Darbinyan presented a new investment program, according to the results of which another 600 jobs will be created.

The minister noted that the factory will receive government assistance to create new jobs. "We hope that with the help of the investment program we will be able to partially resolve the issue of employment in the region," he stressed.

To note, the Vanadzor garment factory "Gloria" has been in operation since 2009. It operates on the basis of orders from a number of foreign companies, on their raw materials and equipment (tolling), and all products are sent to European countries. In 2016, it produced products worth 2.1 billion AMD, which was fully exported.
