ArmInfo. Analysts Yandex.Money found out how much people spend on food in Armenia and what restaurants they go to most often. For this, the data on payments in grocery stores, cafes and restaurants of the country were studied. It turned out that people prefer to eat at home, but they began to visit more often places where they can have a snack: for a year the number of payments in them increased by almost 20%.

For every trip to the grocery store, Armenian buyers spend an average of 8165 AMD. For a year this amount has grown by almost 40%. The average check for products depends on the store: in Yerevan City it is 10 973 AMD, in SAS - 8640 AMD, in Eureka - 7517 AMD, in Yeritsyan & Sons - 2938 AMD.

In restaurants and cafes, the inhabitants of Armenia spend less than in grocery stores - 3888 AMD on average per time.  Judging by the number of payments, most often they visit institutions of national cuisine or fast food.

Food with delivery costs people more than going to a restaurant: they spend an average of 5616 AMD on such orders. For a year this service became more popular - the number of payments in this category grew by 13%.
